If I pay out-of-state tuition, will I always pay the out-of-state rate?

Not necessarily. If you are eligible to establish residency and the claimant (person establishing residency) have sufficient documentation to prove they have been in the state of Florida for at least twelve (12) consecutive months prior to a full term start date, you should meet with the Admissions Office and request reclassification. To reclassify, the claimant will be required to provide a new residency classification form and three (3) documents that prove Florida residency. Residency reclassification must be completed prior to the residency deadline for the full term posted within the Academic Calendar.
