Privacy of Records
Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), records of students may be released only to the student, those to whom the student has authorized release, and certain specified third parties. The student has the right to access, explanation, challenge, and hearing.
This includes students who are:
- Minors
- Active duty military
- Not in the U.S.A.
